Now the female pig twists the tail

Hello everybody!

Today I want to talk about the origin of this very popular portuguese saying that only the experts of pig breeding know about it.

The meaning of this saying is very simple. When you say Now the female pig twists the tail - "Agora é que a porca torce o rabo", you are referring about difficulties that are going to happen in the near future.

The origin of this one is very simple too. When pigs are in danger, or stressed, they instinctively twist their tails as a sign of anger. Be careful because when pigs do this, they will attack you!

So now you know! If you see a pig twisting his tail, you have to put yourself at stick, because you are about to experience the wrath of the swines!
